A chopstick reminder
I broke bread today
A welcomed exhale

Something to be said
For taking a deep breath

It was a chopstick reminder
Of how without talent and proficiency

It's easy to drop
The most tasty morsels of life

Love and faith
Integrity and a belief

That on that first real night of fall
Just when you're reminded of winter consistency

There are things
That can keep you warm

From an extra blanket or a true embrace
To someone loving you so much that they take your place

I don't know much
But this much I see

The very things that encapsulate me
Are discussed over a brilliant cup of tea

Words behind the words; chopstick, talent, integrity and consistency
