Playful for good measure
I swallow whole
An epic desire to dream

Of iridescent light
That catches my eyes

Pouring over and over
And over again

The audacious night
That soon will arrive

When a smile creeps
From the corner of my mouth

Until it overtakes my lips
Like a kiss you'd beg a forever stay

Bottom one bitten
Playful for good measure

While the sun falls earlier and earlier
Each day

My bets are raised tonight
By a stack of what I’m feeling

Just then
And right now

It’s a fall wind that blows outside
Its gust will give way to a morning shake

Shivering for impossible things
The kind two hands cannot make

Words behind the verse: iridescent, epic, gust and audacious
